Xiang Embroidery City has the new type industry companies of Changsha Jinlong Silk Co., Ltd. and Changsha Xingsha Xiang Embroidery City Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. Changsha Jinlong Silk Co., Ltd. was founded on September 5, 2003. It is a joint venture of Hunan Longteng Clothing Adornments Co., Ltd. and Korea Silk Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of RMB 7.80 million. Besides the operation of traditional industry and exploring new overseas markets, the company was devoted to the development of real estate after investigation and study and has made achievements in a short time. It established Xingsha Xiang Embroidery City project in December 2003, which covers a land area of 300 mu (1mu=1/15 hectare), has gross building area of 400,000sq.m. and gross investment of RMB 380 million. The City constructs four-star "Longteng Hotel", 100,000sq.m Shunlong Garment and Cloth Wholesale Market and 1280 commercial establishments. Changsha Xingsha Xiang Embroidery City Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. was started in June 2004 with a registered capital of RMB 10 million. It mainly deals with real estate development, operation, leasing, property management and building materials sales. It has the third class qualification for real estate development, and incorporates two subsidiaries Xiang Embroidery City Property Management Co., Ltd. and Xiang Embroidery Decoration and Fitment Co., Ltd. So far, it has nearly 100 staff including 48 specialized technical personnel, 20 with different professional titles and 32 with university diploma or above.
